numan’s analysis
Deal memo, decision summary, leverage brief, and comps
The longer write-ups numan can produce for a deal, and the comps card that shows where the asking multiple sits.
Deal memo
Generate memo writes a memo with a deal overview, financial snapshot, the buy-signal verdict, diligence status and open questions, and a recommendation. Each point is tagged as a Fact, an Assumption, a Risk, or something to Ask the broker.
Edit the memo and your edits are saved as a new version, with numan’s original kept. Download it as Markdown or PDF. When the deal changes, the memo shows a banner saying it may be out of date. Regenerate it to catch up.
Decision summary
Generate summary gives a short case for and against: why to pursue, why to pass, and what must be verified first.
Leverage brief
The leverage brief helps you negotiate. It shows where the ask sits against comparable listings, which key facts are missing, and what the broker’s incentives are, with a list of questions you can copy.
Comps
The Asking multiple vs. comps card compares this deal’s price-to-SDE multiple with same-sector, similar-size listings currently for sale. It’s plain math, not AI. With fewer than five close matches, it widens the comparison and says how. These are asking prices, not closing prices. Market-wide figures are on Comps: asking multiples.
What they read
The memo and decision summary work from the deal page: listing facts, the scorecard, the checklist, notes, and the names of your documents. They don’t read the documents themselves. To have numan read a document, ask in deal chat. The memo, summary, and leverage brief use AI credits.
