Usage credits
AI features draw from a prepaid credit balance. Here’s how you get credits, what spends them, and what happens when they run out.
Where credits come from
- Every new workspace starts with $2.00 of free credit. No card is needed.
- Team workspaces are topped up to $50 at the start of each month. The top-up never takes credit away and never stacks above $50.
- Owners and admins can buy more on AI Usage & Billing: add a card, then click Buy $10.00 credits. Your balance updates a few seconds after payment.
What spends them
Anything where numan reads or writes with AI: fit checks and scorecards, deal chat, deal memos and other analysis, reading a page with the extension or a URL import, daily matching, and the buyer-profile chat. Each call costs what the AI provider charges us plus our markup, and it’s itemized on the usage page by feature and by team member.
Searching, the pipeline, notes, diligence, and documents don’t use credits.
Auto-refill
Turn on Auto-refill to buy another bucket automatically whenever your balance drops below the threshold you set (the default is $1.00). Adding a card turns auto-refill on. If your balance is already empty at that moment, it also buys one bucket right away.
When you run out
When the balance reaches $0, AI features pause on every plan and show a card to add credits. Everything else keeps working. If an auto-refill charge is declined, buy credits by hand to start again.
